Common Tansy

Tanacetum vulgare


Common tansy, Tanacetum vulgare, is generally found growing in moist environments, this can include pastures and riparian areas (near water). This plant is easy to identify with its strongly pungent leaves and ray-less yellow button like flowers. Common tansy can grow anywhere from 1-5 feet in height. This plant is reported to be poisonous to livestock.
